Given the widespread impact this parking structure will have on Downtown Dunedin, I support moving the agenda item to the next commission meeting so that every commissioner can hear and respond to the concerns of the community about this topic. There are many businesses who rely on the use of privately owned or leased lots for employee parking as well as the generosity of their neighbors who allow parking on their property. However, that availability and the generosity of neighbors can evaporate, leaving no solution in place to address the needs of employee parking in addition to visitor parking.
